Fabulous off the highway place. Super comfortable beds. Staff was lovely. No breakfast included, but coffee and tea available in the morning. Nice and quiet andI was leery being so close to the train tracks, but I don't think they ran through town at night - no one else heard them either. I'd definitely go here again.
Not the fanciest place but it's fine. I would stay there again. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is good.
What a transformation from what it was to what it is now. Rooms are incredibly clean. Beds are great. Staff is friendly. I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting maple creek and area.
I would not recommend staying here if you plan on doing more than just sleeping. Air conditioning unit is located near the ceiling and did not provide much relief from the heat, even after running 9 hours (overnight even) straight on full blast. There is only 1 set of curtains on the windows, which left the room too dark when closed or too hot when you need light. My queen size mattress was clearly well used as I found when trying to sleep in the middle of the bed and only found a lump, but a really comfortable pocket on the left and right of the bed. The box springs were not covered and while they did look new, one of them had an obvious gross looking white stain on it. I had to call maintenance to repair the bathroom door because it would not latch closed. 1 of the 3 lamps did not work. 4 out of 7 hangers were usable. I could not find coffee packs to bring up to my room in the morning nor could I find someone to ask. I was not offered compensation, as payment is due upon arrival. The police department is located directly beside the motel.*We arrived after midnight to our room. After finding the latch did not work on the bathroom door we had to postpone our plans while we waited for maintenance to fix our door in the morning. After 8 hours in a hot room and a now late start to our day, my husband was not going to ask for coffee packets (or useable hangers) for our room, as I no longer wanted to spend a minute longer here.
Nice clean room with everything I needed. Not much more to say was just a stop over on my way out west
