We visited Star Cafe and Grill on July 27, 2018. We were visiting the area and staying in Maple Creek for 2 nights. We found the decor and service quite nice. We never waited too long for our drinks or food. We had a cocktail and local beer (from Swift Current) very good. We ordered an appetizer of the breaded shrimp whichwas very tasty. My wife had a seafood curry for her main, medium spice, it was delicious! I had the 8oz sirloin steak with mash potatoes and grilled vegetables. So, so good! The mash was absolutely divine! We also had some wine, a white Chardonnay for my wife, and I had a Merlot, both from Sawmill Creek and it was very nice. We finished our meal with an out of this world carrot cake baked locally by The Grind coffee and bakery, just down the street. I can say without any reservations that it was the best carrot cake I have ever had in my life! A great experience, atmosphere and the food and service were excellent. Highly recommended!
Came here randomly on our trip and really enjoyed the prime rib that was on special. The atmosphere is so great and I love the details and the atmosphere. Would definitely come back again.

Great place to have dinner. The steak is great and I recommend the fish and chips. Only negative would be they are a little slow but food is worth the wait.
Fantastic place. Definitely worth the stop. The decor is amazing, the staff friendly. Great selection of craft beers. Menu has many classics with a fusion twist. Had the daily special. Will return.
