It does make you feel good. Next to highway 1, easy to access, a good restaurant just in, and many other restaurants and eating just steps away from it.

I booked this campsite because the park advertises a dark sky. I am disabled and was looking forward to using my telescope from my campsite. I could not as there are street lights that light the entire camp site area up at night. So much so that at my campfire after dark I could read my book by the light of the street light. That is not a dark sky. All the campsites have streetlights.Otherwise a lively time and a beautiful park

Lovely. Scenic. 2nd highest elevation in Canada, next to the Rocky Mountains. Great for camping. COOL soft serve, ice cream shop with unique flavors.

Bathrooms are so clean and the showers are hot. So much to do and awesome activities. We will be coming back next year!! 5 star all the way :)

I've lived my whole life in this province and, despite having heard great things about this park, never taken the trip down to Cypress Hills myself. Having spent 5 days there this past August weekend I can confidently say it's a hidden gem in the province with unique (for SK) geography, wildlife encounters, trails and a great community of people who make the park hum.Highlights would be visiting the observatory during the Perseid Meteor showers, visiting Bald Butte late at night for some astrophotography (with about a half dozen other photographers), walking and biking the Trans-Canada trail and seeing deer, moose, birds, and squirrels all over the place. I would strongly recommend it for someone looking for a fairly quiet, yet active campground with plenty of activities (not much in the way of watersports beyond canoe/kayaking on the lochs) and in particular those who enjoy mountain biking and trail hiking in a forest with more in common with those found in the Rockies than anything in the prairies.
